| Il était une fois… Feu & Métal est un groupe de pyro-métallo un peu fou et unique en son genre qui s’ingénie depuis une dizaine d’années à souffler l’incandescence du feu sur toutes leurs créations apportant une vision futuriste aux spectacles pyrotechniques. C’est toujours dans le creuset de la passion que se forgent les plus belles amitiés. Comédiens, danseurs, musiciens, pyrotechniciens, il a fallu que le vent des rencontres souffle sur les braises de la complémentarité pour qu’Athanor puisse voir enfin la lumière du jour. La richesse de cet alliage humain initial fait aujourd’hui celle d’un spectacle où se mêlent musique, performance, effets pyrotechniques, danse et jeu d’acteurs. La petite étincelle de départ est aujourd’hui devenue flamme dévorante. Alors, feu à volonté ! |
Once upon a time… Fire & Metal is a group of pyro-metal-worker a little insane and unique in its kind, whom, since ten years, strive to blow the incandescence of fire on all their creations bringing a futuristic vision to pyrotechnical spectacles. It is always in the crucible of passion that the most beautiful friendships are forged. Actors, dancers, musicians, pyrotechnists, it was necessary that the wind of meetings blows on embers of the complementarity so that Athanor can see daylight finally. | Un spectacle tout en fusionsAutour d’un personnage ambivalent, mi-dieu mi-diable, 7 tableaux spectaculaires nous invitent à une cérémonie dont le prétexte magique est une déclinaison onirique de la symbolique du feu : le Feu créateur, le Feu élémentaire, le Feu de l’alchimie, le Feu de la sexualité, le Feu tribal, le Feu de la purification et le Feu de l’immortalité … Jeux de rôles, heroïc fantasy, comedia dell’arte, bande dessinée, feux d’artifices, l’univers visuel d’Athanor emprunte son inspiration, ses costumes, sa gestuelle, ses chants ou ses pétarades aux quatre coins de notre imaginaire. Un mât très haut transperce l’espace scénique et définit différents espaces et niveaux d’expression. Autour de ce vertigineux totem se jouent les sept actes d’un étrange cérémonial. Avec ses formes oblongues, sensuelles et parfois agressives, le mât impose sa présence tribale et organique. Son rayonnement métallique ramène l’homme à la dimension de simple mortel. Support pyromantique idéal pour raconter mille histoires de feu, le mât crache ses incandescences, tousse ses flammes et vocifère ses étincelles. La fusion opère, les langues du feu nous parlent de mythes et d’aventures. |
A show all in fusionAround an ambivalent character, alf-god alf-devil, 7 spectaculars scenes invite us to a ceremony whose magic pretext is an dreamlike variation of the symbolic of fire : The Fire creator, the elementary Fire, the alchemist’s Fire, the sexual Fire, the tribal Fire, the purification Fire and the immortality Fire… Role play, heroïc fantasy, comedia dell' arte, comics, fireworks, the visual universe of Athanor borrows its inspiration, its costumes, its gestural, its songs or its backfires with the four corners of our imaginary. A very high mast pierces scenic space and defines various spaces and levels of expression. Around this vertiginous totem, the seven acts of a strange ceremonial are played. With its oblong, sensual and sometimes aggressive forms, the mast imposes its tribale and organic presence. Its metal radiation brings back the man to the dimension of simple mortal. Ideal pyromantic support to tell thousand stories of fire, the mast spits its incandescences, coughs its flames and vociferates its sparks. Fusion operates, the languages of fire speak to us about myths and adventures. |

| Le Feu Créateur 8 danseuses + créateur « Le caractère ambivalent du feu est d’origine soit divine soit démoniaque, d’après certaines croyances archaïques, il s’engendre magiquement dans l’organe génital des sorcières » « Multiples sont les visages du Feu. La plupart évoluent entre ciel et terre, entre création et destruction ; entre matière et imagination ; entre besoin et crainte ; entre réalisme et magie ; à mi-chemin entre l’ordre surnaturel et la maîtrise de la technique par l’homme. Le Feu nous entraîne dans un domaine d’ambivalences et de contradictions » Une croûte terrestre mouvante. Le personnage principal arrive sur scène, d’un geste il anime la flamme symbole. Ce feu engendre des êtres de terre dont les corps émergent de cette gangue. Ces personnages étranges sont reliés par des cordons lumineux à leur terre nourricière. Emergence de ces protohumains avec leur grosse tête en forme de magma. Attitude maladroite (ils tiennent a peine debout dans leurs costumes informent couleur terre). Commence une danse lancinante au cours de laquelle leur créateur viendra rompre les cordons nourriciers. Les hommes libérés viendront reprendre leur énergie à la source de la flamme symbole. Leurs énormes têtes de terre s’animent d’une flamme et des spasmes frénétiques les envahissent. |

| Le Feu Elémentaire 8 danseuses + créateur « Le feu est-il autre chose qu’un élément qui nous éclaire, qui nous échauffe et qui nous brûle ? » Nos êtres frustres se débarrassent de leurs grosses têtes et arrachent leurs frusques pour se rapprocher de la flamme pour sa chaleur. Le créateur se rapproche à son tour et leurs distribue de la nourriture. Simulation de la vie du clan autour du feu. Grommellement et sons gutturaux accompagnent leur satisfaction. Suit une danse avec bâtons et autres objets de feu pour honorer leur créateur. Ils négligent la flamme vitale dont l’intensité diminue jusqu'à ce qu’elle se meure. Tempête et colère du créateur symbolisé par des mouvements hostiles qui déclenchent d’ultimes gerbes de feu. |
Elementary Fire 8 dancers + creator "Is fire another thing than an element which lights us, which overheats us and which burns us?" | Le Feu de l’Alchimie 3 comédiens « L’alchimie symbolise l’évolution même de l’homme d’un état où prédomine la matière à un état spirituel » Trois sbires du créateur chassent le clan, ensuite ils vont tenter de ranimer la source de feu. Personnages un peu grotesques qui au moyen de leur creuset expérimental essaient différentes formules détonantes. Finalement au gré de leurs interventions, ils restaurent la flamme symbole. |

| Le Feu de la Sexualité / The Fire of Sexuality8 danseuses + créateur - 8 dancers + creator « Le feu obtenu par frottement est considéré comme le résultat d’une union sexuelle ». Le créateur ordonne au clan de revenir et leur simule une danse d’accouplement. Le clan l’imite et au fur et à mesure qu’ils sont au contact de l’un et l’autre leurs sens s’éveillent. Naît une danse, où ils vont s’enlacer, se toucher, se frotter… L’énergie sexuelle déclenche une multitude de petites étincelles qui vont jaillir d’entre les corps. “The fire obtained by friction is regarded as the result of a sexual union". Le Feu Tribal / Fire Tribal 5 comédiens - 5 actors « Le feu présente aussi un aspect négatif : il brûle, dévore, détruit : le feu des passions, du châtiment, de la guerre ». L’énergie sexuelle apaisée, le créateur et malin ordonne à la tribu de feu de réinstaurer l’ordre. Le clan s’enfuit et apparaissent hallebardiers et structurators. Personnages inquiétants bardés de métal et de cuir qui de leurs pas lourd, enchaîneront une démonstration incandescente, de leur habileté a manier le pouvoir destructeur du feu. "Fire presents also a negative aspect: it burns, devours, destroys: the fire of passions, of punishment, of war ". | Le Feu de la Purification / The Fire of Purification 8 danseuses + 1 musiciens + créateur - 8 dancers + 1 musician + creator « Le feu obtenu par percussion, s’apparente à l’éclair et à la flèche et possède une valeur de purification et d’illumination ; il est le prolongement igné de la lumière ». Sous l’impulsion du créateur, le clan réapparaît sous une autre énergie percutante. Les protagonistes se frappent les bras et les jambes pour créer une rythmique infernale. Danse acrobatique et musicale noyée dans une lueur rouge ardente. Serait-on proche de la purification des âmes, rite de passage vers l’éternité ? "The fire obtained by percussion, is connected with the flash and the arrow and has a value of purification and illumination; it is the igneous prolongation of the light". Under the impulse of the creator, the clan reappears under another percussion energy. The protagonists hit their arms and legs to create a infernal rhythmic. Le Feu Eternel / Fire Eternal créateur + musiciens - creator + musicians « Celui qui connaît le feu en lui s’élèvera pour rejoindre le feu éternel et reposer en lui pour l’éternité ». Le créateur entame une psalmodie invoquant le feu de l’éternité. La roue de l’infini animé par le feu entame ses révolutions symboliques. Le guitariste entre en scène pour soutenir, par des riffs agressifs, la montée du feu. Salve du feu, éphémère et limpide, atmosphère envoûtante, l’on se rapproche vers l’autre part des illusions ! Puis c’est le Feu final : Tir en séquence, jeu pyrotechnique répétitif et intense qui transporte le public jusque dans ses émotions les plus fortes. | "ATHANOR", le spectacle de Feu & Métal , regroupe 25 artistes sur une scène futuriste, un mât-sculpture de 15 mètres de large et de 25 mètres de hauteur. Ce mât se lève pendant le spectacle accueillant autour d'un personnage principal : 8 danseuses, 5 comédiens, et un musicien, alors qu'autour évoluent d’étranges personnages bardés de cuir et habillés de structures métalliques, entraînant les spectateurs pendant quarante minutes dans un ballet de feux et de lumières fantastique et merveilleux. Feu & Métal s’intègre à tous les événements exceptionnels, apportant une dimension unique et retentissante à ceux-ci. Feu & Métal c’est un magma de créativité d’où surgit « monstres hybrides, guerriers de feu, totems, rocketmen… » dans des mises en scène pyro-métalo-artistiques déflagrantes. La symbolique du feu et de l’aluminium gère leur vie, sous forme de déambulatoire ou de spectacle grandiose, c’est à travers ces différentes performances que Feu & Métal transporte le public dans les tréfonds de la pyrotechnie."ATHANOR", the Fire & Metal’s show gathers 25 artists on a futuristic stage, a mast-sculpture of 15 meters wide and 25 meters height. This mast rises during the show receiving 8 dancers, 5 actors, a principal character and a musician, when move around a strange leather characters barded and equipped with metal structures, involving the audience during forty minutes in a ballet of fires and lights fantastic and marvellous.
